Terms of Service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
1. Introduction
These terms apply when you use this website or buy from MaxwellMade, a one-person shop run by Max in Minnesota. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. They’re kept short and plain on purpose.
2. Using This Site
You’re welcome to browse, share links and buy pieces for yourself or as gifts. Please don’t use the site for anything unlawful or in a way that could damage it or get in the way of other visitors.
3. Products & Pricing
Every piece is made by hand from natural wood, so grain, color and size can vary slightly from the photos. Prices are in US dollars and can change, but the price at checkout is the one you pay. If a price or description is ever listed incorrectly, I’ll contact you before your order ships.
4. Orders & Payment
Payments are processed securely by Square. Once you check out, you’ll get a confirmation from Square. If a piece turns out to be unavailable after you order, I’ll let you know and refund you in full.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping details, timing and rates are on the Shipping & Returns page. Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery times are up to them, but I’ll help if something goes wrong.
6. Returns & Exchanges
For hygiene reasons, I don’t accept returns or exchanges on earrings. If something isn’t right with your order, contact me right away. The Shipping & Returns page has the full details.
7. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The terms in place when you placed your order apply to that order.
8. Prohibited Uses
Please don’t copy or scrape the site, attempt to break into it, or use it to send spam or harmful code.
9. Intellectual Property
The designs, photos and writing on this site belong to MaxwellMade. Please don’t reproduce them or sell copies of the designs without permission. Sharing a link or a photo of a piece you bought is always welcome.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, MaxwellMade isn’t responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses from using the site or wearing the jewelry, and any responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the piece in question.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
